About
Born in Tokyo in 1996, Fuse was drawn to jazz during high school after discovering the music of Bill Evans. He began playing jazz piano at the University of Tokyo Jazz Society. In 2017, he performed with the Keio Light Music Society, winning First Prize and the Outstanding Soloist Award at the Yamano Big Band Jazz Contest. He is currently active in the Tokyo metropolitan area. He released his debut album Isolated in 2024, followed by his second album Thus Have I Heard in 2025.
Music
With bassist Riku Takahashi and drummer Kaito Nakamura, Fuse released his first trio album Isolated in 2024 and his second album Thus Have I Heard in 2025. His work explores original compositions inspired by landscapes and spiritual imagery, seeking a free and organic approach to improvisation.
